Audax Get Your Stripes
About the Project
Get Your Stripes is a personal project for visualising long distance (audax) cyclists’ audaxing history.
Each distance (50, 100, 200, 300, 400, 600 & 1200) has its own colour so when put together over the space of year will form a multi-coloured band.
The concept was to create something visually similar to military ribbon bars so that each audaxing year has it’s own, unique, ribbon.
The project involved the creation of a data parser to extract the information for each rider from the Audax UK site which is then formatted and displayed.
The application was created in pure PHP.
