About the Project

Ben at Cargo Bike Company asked us to help him create a new site including an online shop so that he could start selling his custom Cargo Trikes directly through the site.

We came up with a bold and clean design that matched The Cargo Bike Company’s bikes (strong and sturdy) and designed a clean and clear navigation structure.

A large part of the project time was spent creating the shop with the various bike configuration options and complicated postage zones.

The site has helped the Cargo Bike Company achieve impressive growth and gain global appeal.

The site was built in the WordPress Content Mangement System with WooCommerce for the shop.

We loved working with Ben on a project close to hearts (bicycles!) and are really proud to have played a part in The Cargo Bike Company’s success.

The state of my old static website was starting to hamper my business’s progress so I made many enquires to various website development company’s ranging from local ‘one man bands’ to large national companies. The responses ranged from highly technical to simplistic with prices ranging from £300 to £26,000.

I was bewildered by the choice and options so spoke to a friend who is well integrated in the local business community and he recommended John from Damselfly Creative. John’s response to my enquiry email was prompt, easy to understand and the estimate was what I had budgeted for.

From Day 1 he had a excellent grasp of what I wanted the website to do and the style I was looking for. He neither tried to extend the scope or over-complicate the process or website.

I am very pleased with the end product. I have had many comments from my customers about the website, especially that it is clear and easy to navigate.

The website has generated a significant growth in the business, most of which I owe to John and his website development skills. I would not hesitate to recommend Damselfly Creative to other businesses.’
